What are the main challenges you are trying to solve and your proposed solution?
- Compared to other digital content products by companies like Meta, Alphabet, ByteDance, Twitter etc., in Ghana, Wikimedia wikis (and the Movement) though just as valuable, are still obscure to internet users.
Through workshops and online public relations campaigns, this grant will tackle ignorance about the content creation for Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata, ignorance about the Movement behind the content, and increase the uber low numbers of active editors in Ghana.
