Monthly updates[edit]

January[edit]
The project team prepared across differed tasks for the project launching. And the key operations began on January 18th. We held our first meeting and integrated our development concepts into more systematic operational structure and developed sub level strategies. All educational materials for the DVD were collected and being processed as planned.
February[edit]
Half of the DVDs were duplicated and began distributed to selected schools. The research team is developing lessons that associated Wikipedia features and current school curriculum. We chose English class for 9-12th grades for our lessons development. The 10 volunteers are all teachers university students which provided us unique advantage of current public schools functioning details which they thrice per week conduct their professional teaching practice at various public schools. And we will assign the volunteers for close on site class teaching process analysis during the Wikipedia involved classes.
March[edit]
All DVDs to school are distributed and learning process has began. The team is organizing English classes through 10 schools as planned. The project team is studying the new class teaching process on site at the schools. The 100 sets (200pcs) of DVDs is planned to distribute to district libraries for better extended access for students. And total 500 sets (1000 pieces) of DVDs were distributed to 10 schools.
Month 4[edit]
The project team has distributed lessons throughout 10 schools and assigned staffs to conduct on site studies of Wikipedia associated teaching process. Further the team will process this research materials along with other materials into final pilot stage project conclusion. Overall the educational community is very positively treating our project.
