This report for a Rapid Grant approved in FY 2020-21 has been reviewed and accepted by the Wikimedia Foundation.


Goals[edit]

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? yes, I am happy with how the event went. it was well planned and a list of translated articles were created Link which were improved during the contest. A number of articles were 465 articles were edited which has trippled the initial plan of 150. Here's the link to the detailed event page Link

  • What did not work so well? Number of turn up was low due to network blockage in some parts of the state and the country at large.

Do you have any remaining grant funds? we have no funds remaining (Due to high rate of inflation in Nigeria, we are forced to make adjustments from the initial budget)

Anything else[edit]

Anything else you want to share about your project? This project has led to improvement of a number of Hausa Wikipedia articles and even after the event we will keep on motivating ourselves to continue improving such articles. pictures of the event can be found here
