Project Goal[edit]
I want to buy two Chinese scanned public domain books from the website "bookinlife". They both contain a list of books published before the mid-1930s. They are particular useful because many books it listed are in public domain and can be put into Chinese Wikisource.
There currently no scanned books on Wikimedia Commons that can be used to digitalize and serve as a list of books published before the mid-1930s. As a result of this grant, scanned books will be available on Wikimedia Commons and enable editors from Chinese Wikisource to digitalize them, which will ultimately serve as a list of books for editors to looking for and digitalize, sparkling more exciting books published before the mid-1930s to be digitalized on Chinses Wikisource.

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. What will you and other organizers spend your time doing?
- I will be reponsible for buying the books and upload them to Wikimedia Commons.
How will you let others in your community know about your project (please provide links to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions)? Why are you targeting a specific audience?
- Because they will mainly benefit editors form Chinese Wikisource, I have started a discussion there and the link is: zh:s:Wikisource:写字间#购买两册民国目录书.
What will you have done at the end of your project? How will you follow-up with people that are involved with your project?
- I will start to digitalize these books with other editors.
