Steve Kally/Photowalk in Southern Kaduna
I am a professional documentary photographer and an indigenous culture promoter, I joined the community in 2020 as part of the team contributing to add a new language that is Tyap Wikipedia and have contributed over 500 edits to the incubator. This project is to expand my contributions as it will primarily focus on taking freely licensed high quality photographs of monuments (cultural sites, archaelogical sites, railway sites), natural reliefs (mountains, waterfalls, etc.), cultural artefacts and modern cultural symbols (including attires) cuisines of Southern Kaduna people. This part of Kaduna state Nigeria holds historic landmarks in the history of Nigeria and which most don't have pictures on Wikipedia yet,the only few known will include Nok Terracotta.

  • Support Support The project has the potentials to contribute to the existing beautiful photos and images already assembled by other people around the world on Wikimedia Commons. Besides, it should enhance and advance the cultural heritages of the Southern Kaduna people in the face of the imminent extinction of many languages in the area.
