Learning

[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
  • Delegation of task to organizers made the event to be smooth.
  • The availability of refreshment made tasks carried out by participant to be fun.
  • The ability of the target audience in being able to use smart phones made transition from museum tour to editing easier.
  • What did not work so well?
  • Too many activities were carried out in one day and this made improving or creating more articles on the same day difficult.
  • Grant Funds was received late and this made final preparations a bit difficult.
  • What would you do differently next time?
  • Few activities will be carried out on same day or spread over two days to allow for more content to be created on Wikimedia projects same day.
  • I will add a week more to proposed date of event to make room for delay in receiving grant funds.
