• With Bengali Wikisource Community:Few Bug had been discussed as directed by my Bengali Wikisource community task. The task task T172276,task T171266,task T163060,task T154100,task T148834,task T148834,task T58087 discussed during the wikimanaia with Pmlineditor,Thomas Tanon,Sam Wilson.

Learning Pattern

Wikisource Hackathon

Wikisourcers gathered at a separate space for Hackathon. Here I learned few more things about Wikidata and Wikisource integration. I have shared my Media uploading bot to the Wikisource community to upload books from Digital Library of India.

Connections

• Nicolas belett Vigneron: Wikimania 2017 gave me the opportunity to interact with him. I learned a lot from him. Some of the outputs from this interaction have been mentioned in this report.

• Niharika Kohli of WMF: I had interacted with Niharika previously to help host OCR4wikisource python script in tool labs. I am so glad she took interest in the script and working on it.

• Thomas Tanon: Discussed few bugs and future developments.

• Sam Wilson: Sam told me about his plan of new tool developments. Also some of the outputs of our discussion have been mentioned in the report

• Satdeep Gill: After WikiConference India 2016. This Wikimania was the fourth occasion where I met him. We had long discussions and heated debates about getting an effective outcome from the WikiConference India 2016 and Indiac wikipedia Developments

• Effeietsanders: WikiLoves Monuments International Organized, I have met first time with him. He is a so nice. We have discussed WikiLoves Monuments India 2017.

• User:Yann: I had met first time with him. The well-wisher of Indic Wikimedia project. He a good Wikisiurces friend of mine so long.

• Lane Rasberry: I had met first time with him. The well-wisher of Indic Wikimedia project. He took my interview at Wikimania 2017. The short video was uploaded at Commons.

• Pmlineditor:We live in the same city Kolkata. We have traveled to and fro Montreal,Canada with him.He fixed few bugs and now working on task T163060.

• Tanweer Morshed: My Wikimedia Old friend, Wikimedia Chapter EC Member, met him second time after Bengali Wikipedia 10th Conference. We decided to improve the quality of Bengali Wikipedia articles by expanding the important stubs and improving the most important articles which should be in any encyclopedia. We also discussed to be part of the Wikipedia Medicine Translation task force and improve the medical contents in Bengali Wikipedia.

• Sailesh Patnaik: Young excited member or Odia Community. Discussed so many things about Odia wikisource Project.

• User:Kritzolina: My new friend. I have brought some presentation India, and gave to her. I am very happy to meet her, a Wikipedia quitemenss association.

• User:Ravidreams:My Old Tamil Wikipedian friend, met again. We have discussed the project with Google Content Generation.

• Kartik Mistry: Discussed Content Translation Tool.

OTRS Meetup I participated in Wikisource Meetup as the only representative from Bengali Wikisource community and Indic Wikimedia Community. I have met there with Lane and other OTRS member.

Wikisource Meetup: I participated in Wikisource Meetup as the only representative from Bengali Wikisource community. It was a happy moment for me when met all International wikisources. The details of the discussion can be found here.

Wikimedia Asia Meetup and Wikimedia SAARC Meetup

Participated in Wikimedia Asia Meetup. We talked about strengthening community collaboration and organization of possible pan-Asian conference in near future.

Bengali Wikimedia Meetup

This Wikimania brought together 3 Bengali Wikimedians from both India and Bangladesh meetup in Wikimania. In this meetup, we decided to improve the quality of Bengali Wikipedia articles by expanding the important stubs and improving the most important articles which should be in any encyclopedia. We also discussed to be part of the Wikipedia Medicine Translation task force and improve the medical contents in Bengali Wikipedia.

Indic Wikimedia Meetup

This Wikimania brought together 10 Wikimedians meetup in Wikimania. In this meetup, we decided to improve the quality of Wikipedia articles by expanding the important stubs and improving the most important articles which should be in any encyclopedia. We also discussed to be part of the Wikipedia Medicine Translation task force and improve the medical contents in Wikipedia. Also we have discussed our coming Wiki conference India. Sailesh wish to organized next conference at Bhubaneswar by Odia Community.
