Project summary[edit]

Briefly summarize your project proposal.

This project is a project on wikidata that involves creating new Igbo language lexemes on wikidata and improve their lexicographical information .This project is to train community members on

a.How to create lexemes on Wikidata

b.How lexemes are formed

c.Linking wikidata lexemes sense and items for this sense.

This project will help bridge lexemes content gap, improve User experience on wikidata and link the lexemes created to the same wikidata item.most projects are focused mostly on items leaving the lexemes behind,we had this training last year during the wikidata 10th birthday and since then no training on how to create lexemes. We want to leverage the wikidata 11th birthday to unveil to new participants who have not heard or know what lexeme is and how to document them.

Strong support Strong support There are gaps that needs to be filled when it comes to lexemes. Lexeme training was last done in the Network once since it's inception. Having this training will help open knowledge on the basics of creating lexemes and how they can be linked to their items. I strongly support this project.
