Pronunciations[edit]

Hi Guerrrero007, thanks for your idea! I don't speak Spanish very well, but I have reviewed your idea on providing more language information on our projects. I have two comments so far:

  • From your summary, it seems like one area you want to improve are articles about countries, specifically by including information about spoken languages in those countries. I think that kind of information (about what languages are spoken and official languages) is pretty accessible. Can you show me an example of an article (e.g. on the Spanish Wikipedia) that needs this kind of improvement?
  • A second area you've suggested is about providing more pronunciation information. This seems like it could be a good enhancement for article content. Do you have ideas on what kinds of topics we might record pronunciation information about? How to gather pronunciations? What equipment would be needed?

If you'd like to discuss this more, let me know. En la Fundación Wikimedia, hay personas que hablan español. Gracias, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 04:11, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
