Remaining funds

[edit]

As suggested, WMES may retain the 193.525 EUR for up to 21 days, or until a new grant request is submitted and a decision is made about the request, unless otherwise instructed by WMF to return the funds. This means that if the request is approved, we can deduct this amount from the payment for the new grant so that WMES does not have to return the funds with a separate payment to WMF. Best regards, Winifred Olliff (Grants Administrator) talk 23:45, 29 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Finally we asked for a new grant. The new grant request is Grants:PEG/WM ES/CUSL8. Thanks. --Millars (talk) 21:24, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, Millars. WMES may retain the funds with WMF's permission until a decision is delivered on that new request unless WMF instructs you to return them before that time. If your new request is approved, this amount will be deducted from your first payment for that request. Best regards, Winifred Olliff (Grants Administrator) talk 22:49, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Winifred. Regards. --Millars (talk) 11:27, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Report Accepted

[edit]

Thank you for your clear and thorough report. It is accepted.

We appreciate your thinking around the need to develop new strategies for engaging volunteers in WLM. Many grantees are facing the same challenge and I will initiate a discussion on the Wiki Loves Monuments mailing list around how to address the trend in decreasing participants and share ideas. Please watch that list for more information. We are also very impressed with your metrics, especially the high number of photographs already integrated on wiki projects!

As Winifred explained above, you can retain the unused funds until a decision has been made on your open proposal. Please let us know if you have any questions. Alex Wang (WMF) (talk) 00:14, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Alex (and Winifred) for your work and words. --Millars (talk) 10:22, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
