Hello Favourdare123, thank you for submitting your grant application. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the Wikimedia Hackathon and mission of the Wikimedia Movement.

After reviewing your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:

  • The technical experience of the applicant or team has not been demonstrated on the application.
  • The project does not focus on technical aspects of the Wikimedia projects, for example: developing scripts, bots or other tools, contributing to the codebase of Mediawiki and its extensions, reusing data on third-party tools, etc.
  • The application does not include a description of the target technical audience for the event.
  • The requested budget does not seem to be aligned with the desired impact.
