Grants talk:Programs/Wikimedia Community Fund/Rapid Fund/WikiActivate Training and Competition for 9-5 Workers (ID: 21949051)

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Not funded[edit]

Hello chukydyk, thanks for re-submitting the proposal. We have reviewed the proposal and decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request.

  • As we highlighted on the previous application, we think that "the applicant and some members of the team don't have experience on the target Wikimedia projects. We require that trainers have relevant experience on the target Wikimedia project. This has been communicated in the past too." This issue hasn't been resolved in this new application.

Hello DSaroyan (WMF),

Your reasons for rejecting my applications are ridiculous and more personal. These people you said are 'not experienced' are the same people you have granted their applications in the past recent. It is very funny to say a Wikipadian who has organised and trained so many newbies in several programs is not experienced. These programs range from WikiLockdown, WikiInteract and WikiSanta, I organised and trained new editors in those events.

Do have a good day, With or without your approval I will keep up with my works of contributing to free knowledge.

Best regards, chukydyk
