This would be the first participation of Madagascar and of Wiki Wake Up. I know they have all the support they need (Georges, Mermoze and Rene Bili) and we will help the best we can to have their first participation be a success. I really hope they will be approved.

Review of Wikidata experience
[edit]As this proposal mentions Wikidata, I have reviewed the team members' experience and record on that project.
- Endorsed chirocca77 has moderate experience editing Wikidata and a clean record. They appear to represent items well and make few mistakes.
- Neutral Anai171 has only minor experience editing Wikidata.
- Neutral Six30 has little experience on any WMF project and none on Wikidata.
- Neutral lalinah has little experience on any WMF project and none on Wikidata.
- Weak oppose Bile_rene has substantial experience on Wikidata, but has a significant number of items deleted for being empty or otherwise non-notable. I see many entries in the abuse filter log for various representation errors. They have a mixed record of responding to feedback (possibly only to feedback in French).
- There is no global account for either Mermoze or geurgeor.

- @Bovlb global account Adoscam, Geugeor Chirocca77 (talk) 12:05, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Endorsed Adoscam: They have substantial Wikidata experience and a clean block log. They appear to represent items thoroughly and with few errors.
- Neutral Geugeor: They has little Wikidata experience. They have created five items, three of which are well-represented and two of which were empty, now deleted. Other issues have been raised with their edits, but they have not responded to feedback.

Partially Funded
[edit]Hello @Chirocca77 thank you for submitting your application for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 8,856,300 MGA ($1,950) and recommend that the team reviews the budget costs related to prizes and awards. A few things to note as you implement;
- Carefully consider some of the feedback provided above regarding the wikidata experience of team members and make the necessary adjustments and improvements to ensure that the project runs smoothly.
- Additionally, we recommend that the team work closely with the campaign organisers to further ensure the quality of the outputs from this project.
