I support that team because they did a good job locally, collected great pictures, they were one of the very very few teams who had a Country Focus page both useful AND updated (thank you !). They also did national prizes. So very good.

But I was disappointed that you never finished last year report. Reports are very important to me... It is important because this is when you justify how you spent donors money; it is important because this promotes transparency within our ecosystem. It is also important because that allows you to record your experience and save it for the following year (whether WLA is organized by yourself or by other members of your team), so that you do not have to reinvent the wheel each time. And last, it is very important because this is the moment where you can reflect on what works, what does not work, what can be improved. A report is not just a doc to hand out to WMF grant team. A report is useful for all of us.

Hello @Anthere, thanks for your support and endorsement. I just wanted to add that Martin Hipangwa has time to submit the report by 29/1/2024. I'll move forward with this grant request but make sure that the report is submitted on time. DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 11:21, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
