Endorsment from Anthere (talk)[edit]

I am EXTREMELY supportive of Bouba and his team. Bouba started as a participant to the contest a few years back. He used the prize to purchase some material, so that he could pursue his passion further. Later, he actually decided to be more than a contributor, but also a lead and trainer in Ivory Coast. And what is special about him (aside from his excellent video productions) is that he trains other videographers to join the contest, thus expanding the pool of videographers who gets involved in our community.

Bouba is not isolated from the CIV UserGroup, but he has different activities and goals (and CIV has not participated to WLA for years, so in effect, Bouba is the face of WLA in IC). Still he is not isolated from CIV, and was heavily involved in the video documentation of the last WikiConvention francophone.

Bouba has never submitted any grant to WMF. Last year, Wiki in Africa decided to take upon its own funds to provide with a little bit of support money. This is the first group we ever did so.

His request is modest, and his impact locally is big. And his approach is completely innovative compared to all other teams. I hope very much he can get this little support;
