Sustainability and Impact[edit]

@Reading Beans contributions in Wiki Projects have shown that he has garnered enough experience to successfully teach others. The sustainability and impact of the projects hinged on creating a university community that would continue to exist long after the project lead had graduated. Therefore, I have been briefed on the project and I will be there online to further train the participants. Ibjaja055 (talk) 21:48, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Partially Funded[edit]

Hello @Reading Beans thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 1,490,000 NGN ($950 USD) with the recommendation that the team reviews the budget to reflect more realistic participant metrics. This is especially because this is the first time this team is seeking to implement a project within the targeted location.  Best of luck with your project!

Best regards, (On behalf of the Middle East and Africa regional funds team) ~~~~ YPam (WMF) (talk) 13:33, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Project extension[edit]

Hello @YPam, I hope you are well. I am writing to request for an extension on the date which this project was to commence.

This is due to a change in the school academic calendar and delay in receiving the approved fund. I request that I get an extended 7 days attended to the initial date. If this if approved, it means that the project starts from 20 April and ends on 20 May.

This would aid in properly running the awareness in the school and purchasing and renting of materials needed for the project before commencing. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 16:44, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Reading Beans Thank you for the update regarding your project plans. It does make sense to begin when schools are in session, given the nature of your project. However, project start dates are fixed but a project end date can be flexible. Therefore, your request for a new project end date is approved with some more time for effective completion. This means your new project end date will be May 31, 2024 and your reporting date will be June 30, 2024.
Thank you for the work that you do, and all the best on your project. YPam (WMF) (talk) 08:40, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
