Hello FaithMwanyolo, and thanks for your report on WLE 2020 in Kenya. Here are my comments and questions:

  • I've reviewed and accepted your financial receipts. Thanks for this documentation around your expenses.
  • Can you provide links to the list of participants, images, and a project page if available? If you have any specific submissions you'd like to share on the report page here, please do!
  • Congratulations on receiving so many photo submissions! Why do you think there were so many more than you had initially estimated?
  • Were there any challenges in actually getting the funding for data costs to individuals who participated in this program? What process did you use to provide funding to participants for data costs?

Please respond to these questions when you are able, and then we will be able to accept this report. Thanks again for your work on Wiki Loves Earth in Kenya last year. I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 22:46, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I JethroBT (WMF) ,thank you for reaching out!

  • I will have to set that up but we will get on it shortly.
  • Thank you! Given the nature of the competition and Kenya’s vast natural heritage, it’s a very practical theme for us and therefore we were able to get a good number of submissions.
  • Funding data was seamless; we were able to make use of the mobile money (MPESA) infrastructure to share data amongst participants.

@FaithMwanyolo: Hello Faith, I am accepting your report, but am also following up on the request here from earlier: Can you provide links to the list of participants, images, and a project page if available? If you have any specific submissions you'd like to share on the report page here, please do! I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 13:34, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
