[edit]Hello Em-mustapha, thanks for submitting this final report. I have a concern after reviewing the final report:
- In the report page you mentioned that you have created over 300+ lexemes. However, in the stats, I could not find any single edited lexeme. Most of the edits are done on Hausa Wikipedia, there are also some edited Wikidata items. But there are no Wikidata lexemes created or edited. Could you please provide a full list of edited lexemes? Also, please explain this discrepancy.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 10:52, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Davit, thank you for reviewing my report. Yes, the outreach dashboard does not track lexemes creation as wikidata was only known to contain items in Q numbers, it was just recently when this new type of data (lexemes) was introduced in 2018 then it started to store them in L number. The dashboard treat the creation of lexemes as normal edit not as an item creation because it wasn't in the mainspace of the Q number item which is known as default for wikidata, here is a query on all the hausa lexemes that were created List of created hausa lexemes. I hope this helps. Regards Em-mustapha talk 11:53, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Em-mustapha, thanks for your response. I'm glad to accept this report with the following comments:
- I hear that you had a challenge in tracking participants’ contributions through the Outreach Dashboard. Please confirm that in the future you will describe similar challenges in the report page.
- I could find Lexemes data in the Outreach Dashboard stats. You can find them in the stats table (Download stats → Edits data). I have calculated the number of edited lexemes and updated the impact table.
- Could you please clarify why there are edits to other Wikimedia projects if the project focus was Wikidata?
Thank you so much for your work. This grant is now marked as completed. All the best, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:56, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks DSaroyan (WMF) For reviewing and accepting the final report.
- Yes, of course, I will surely describe this in the main report next time if there's the need to.
- The reason was, I initially put those Wikimedia projects (Wikidata, Wikipedia and Wiktionary) on the grant section of Wikimedia projects to be impacted by the grant, this was why I also put them on the tracking dashboard. Regards Em-mustapha talk 20:15, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
