Hello Lordgentual, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. We are glad to learn that you are planning to run the WPWP campaign in Cross River State, Nigeria. I have reviewed your proposal and have a few questions and requests:

  • Could you please tell us a bit about the NYSC hub? Is it one of the WikiHubs in Nigeria? Do you have a Meta page?
  • Do you plan to have the same target group for this and WPWP in Wikimedia Hub, Owerri project?
  • Could you please provide the number of units and unit costs for all budget items?
  • Please reduce the prizes or T-shirt budgets, so that together they cost 400 USD or less.
  • Additionally, reduce the Miscellaneous costs by half.

Hi DSaroyan (WMF),thanks for the review.

  • Concerning the NYSC you asked about, it's not a Wikihub in Nigeria. It compromises of Graduates currently undergoing their National Youth Service Corps in Nigeria. I guess I should have used NYSC Corps instead of NYSC hub.
  • As for the target group you asked about,I do not have the same target group with this WPWP in Wikimedia Hub, Owerri project. I'm currently targeting graduates in Cross River State, while they are targeting undergraduates in Owerri State.
  • I have included the units and unit costs for the budget items and reduced the miscellaneous and prize items.

Request for extension of End date[edit]

I wanted to ask for permission to extend the end date for the Wikipedia pages wanting Contest, Cross River from August 10 to August 31 due to the fact that the funds required to run the program was delayed due to some bank issues and it just got to me yesterday and that delayed some activities like promotion that was really important for the contest. Also the international contest is also ending on August 31st and it would make more sense for my own contest to end on that same day.

I can actually try to drop the report for the grant by September 10th which is the actual deadline, although I would appreciate if that date is also shifted forward. Thanks. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lordgentual (talk)
