Grant Report Accepted and Follow-up on Unused funds[edit]

Dear @MarvinBikolano,

Thank you for your effort and work in implementing this project and congratulation on the success of the project. We hope it was a memorable and valuable learning experience. We enjoyed reading and reviewing your report.

In December 2021, we had a conversation about your project and the initial intention was to direct the unused funds to the next edition of Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos in Philippines in 2022.

As of June 2022, we understand that due to availability and new circumstances, there is a change in plans and we'll work together to return the unused funds to Wikimedia Foundation.

Thank you once again for your commitment to the Wikimedia movement. We hope to stay in contact and look to hear about your next project with the Wikimedia community.

Follow-up on Unused Funds[edit]

Hello @MarvinBikolano,

We hope you are well. We are following up on a previous conversation about unused funds (Php 13,056.24).

Based on our email correspondence dated 16 March 2023, we noted you were unable to return the unused funds and would prefer to utilise the remaining funds by either running WPWPPH for 2023 or Wikimedia movement activities.

When you are ready, could you please share your plans and timeline here? We will then proceed to review and approve it so that you can go ahead with the activities. Post activities, we'll also require you to post an update about the event and expenses.

On a separate note, you may also be aware that Phil Wiki is keen to put in a general support application. Last year, this application was put in and withdrawn. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Programs/Wikimedia_Community_Fund/General_Support_Fund_for_the_Philippine_Wikimedia_Community_User_Group_(PH-WC)

Perhaps you may wish to get in touch with them to share plans and coordinate if you find it helpful.

Thank you.
