Comments from DSaroyan (WMF)[edit]

Hello Edriiic thanks for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We have reviewed your application and have a few questions and comments:

  • Please choose between customized souvenirs for participants and gift vouchers for top 3 editors. You can keep customized souvenirs for facilitators.
  • Why do you need a 60 person conference hall for 25 participants?
  • Mahveotm, thanks for supporting Edriiic in running the described activities. Could you please confirm your participation in this project?
  • How do you plan to track the participants' contributions? Please consider using the Outreach Dashboard to track the contributions of the participants. You can also use the Training section of the Outreach Dashboard to learn more about how to plan and carry out edit-a-thons.
  • Will you prepare any list of suggested articles/items for the events? Could you please provide the list of articles you intend to work with?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 15:52, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi DSaroyan (WMF), confirming my participation in this project. Regards, Stormy Chamber (talk) 16:43, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Response[edit]

Thanks DSaroyan (WMF) for the review.

1. I will keep the customized souvenirs for the facilitators and give gift vouchers for the top three editors.

2. The total participant that will be present at the physical event is 25 editors and 5 facilitators. According to COVID-19 guidelines and observation of social distancing it requires a hall for double the people attending. (An event with 30 people in attendance will require a 60 capacity hall)

4. I plan on using the outreach dashboard to track the activity during the edit-a-thon and participants will be able to join at the physical event, and online participants will be able to join via the link.

5. Yes, a Google sheet list of articles to be created/improved will be made available to participants for easy article suggestion. A google sheet list containing selected articles has been sent to your E-mail.
