Items missing from proposal[edit]

Hi, BamLifa, thank you for submitting this request. A few items are missing from the proposal, and we would appreciate you updating your proposal before we review it.

  • Please add full start and end dates (day, month, and year) to the proposal.
  • Please update the budget field in the probox with the grant's budget.
  • Please complete the project's description in the probox. It appears that the last sentence is cut off.

Review of your proposal[edit]

Hello, BamLifa; thank you for submitting this rapid grant proposal and for making the edits that were requested. We have now looked at everything you sent and we are accepting your grant proposal now. We also have the following questions for clarification:

  1. Can you please adjust your project dates to reflect when you plan to carry it out in April?
  2. On days 2-5, you mention food for 32 individuals, and you say that 25 of them will be students. Are they different students each day, or the same group throughout?
  3. Will all participants be from the same school, or from different schools?
  4. We noticed in your budget that you have 30 t-shirts you’re planning to give away. Unfortunately, we consider this to be a high ticket item and would like to either remove it from your budget all together or reduce the number so you can only provide 3 - 5 t-shirts for students who did exceptionally well at the editathon. Please let us know what you would prefer.
  5. We are revising our policies around this, but we currently cannot fund individual allowances, which appear in your budget. Can you please tell us what these allowances would be used for?
  6. Lastly, we’ve noticed that you have a report that was due on March 30th. We will not be able to move forward with this request until that report is submitted and the grant is marked complete. Please submit your final report and expense documentation for Kiwix Open Day grant at your earliest convenience.
