Report accepted[edit]

Hello Rachidourkia, thank you for submitting this final report for the Wiki Loves Africa contest in Morocco. It is great to see that you have met and exceeded all initial goals having lots of nice photos as a result. I’m sorry to hear that the COVID-19 situation in Morocco and in the world disrupted your work and caused a low number of uploads. I have reviewed your report and have the following comments and questions.

  • The number of used images have increased to 168 (20%) since you reported. It is amazing to know that the images you uploaded are being used on different Wikimedia projects.
  • You have selected and categorized the quality photos in a Commons category. Could you please share with us how and who determined these quality photos?
  • Could you also add a link to all photos from WMA in Morocco in the report page?
  • Which channel did work the best in promoting the Wiki Loves Africa contest in your country?

Thanks again for all the efforts you’ve put into organizing this contest in Morocco. I accepted the final report and expense documents marking this grant as complete. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 07:21, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) (talk) Great news! Thank you for the invaluable support, and I appreciate your taking the time reviewing and accepting my final report for Wiki Loves Africa contest in Morocco 2020. which was really fun and a great experience, as for your questions here are our answers to them:

  • I have selected and categorized the quality photos in a Commons category based on the tool (montage) results. I don't know if this is the right way to do so.
  • As for the link to all photos from WLA in Morocco I just updated the report and add the link to it, you can also find it here.
  • As for the channel that worked the best in promoting the Wiki Loves Africa contest in Morocco was the promotion in social medias by creating sponsored ads on Facebook and Instagram.

I hope I have answered your questions and thanks again for your continuous support and we look forward to organize another successful WLA in Morocco next year.Rachidourkia 14:37 , 23 June 2020 (UTC+1)
