Question[edit]

How the "electronic equipment" proposed to be purchased will be re-used and shared with the contributor community after the event? Thanks, Amqui (talk) 13:51, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it's good to specify such things. Donating equipment to the university is fine. --Nemo 13:13, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Every year, contributing to Wikipedia is part of a course assignment for Master-level students. We expect to continue the tradition. We can use the equipment for this and other editathons. :) The equipment will stay at the university. --Brenda 19:24, 20 November 2017 (CST) [updated at 21:39, 20 Nov 2017 (CST)]

Comments upon approval[edit]

Hello BrendaPadilla3, your editathon proposal looks great. We’re impressed with your robust marketing plan around campus as well as your institutional support. In case you are not yet aware of our education program, we also recommend connecting with the Wikipedia Education Program and take a look at their Open Education Week as a resource for your students. If you can also answer Amqui's question on how the equipment will be reused that would be great. Meanwhile, I will go ahead and approve your proposal for the amount you have requested.
