Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Wikipedia for Associations

Comments from DSaroyan (WMF)[edit]

Hello BamLifa, thanks for submitting your Rapid Fund request. We have reviewed your application and have a few questions and comments:

  • Please respond to question #7.
  • Do you plan to cover internet costs for all participants?
  • Could you please share the link to your WhatsApp group and Facebook page?
  • You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages where you have informed the relevant communities about your proposed work in advance. Please add these links under question #2.
  • How do you plan to select event participants? Will you announce an open call for participants?
  • I noticed that neither you, nor Yves are not applying for new grants on behalf of the Wikimedians of Democratic Republic of Congo User Group. Is there a reason for this change? Are you still holding a leadership position at the User Group?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 11:18, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DSaroyan (WMF), I have edited the page as requested. We will be covering Internet costs for everyone in the sessions. Yes, Yves and I are still holding leadership positions, but leaving in two different cities now. I don't personally see the importance of an on-wiki page for a training for non wikimedians. As said on the grant page, we've met them and even started the training with one group. Maybe you should ask for a meeting report on Google doc?--BamLifa (talk) 04:43, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
