Hi Margott, thanks for submitting your report on this Wiki Loves Monuments project. I've also enjoyed checking out some the photos and winning images from the contest. Having reviewed your outcomes and experiences running this project, I have a few comments to make:

Would you consider adding some of the photos (winners and some of the regular photos) to the report page? You can use a gallery format or add a few thumbnails here and there. Projects focused on bringing in media and improving article quality through providing visual material are really important, and it would be great to highlight some of those results on the report directly.
It's impressive to see the degree to which photos were integrated into articles. Over a quarter of the images taken (over 100) were used to illustrate article content. It takes some time to do this work at edit-a-thons and otherwise, so I want to take the time to applaud this result. I also want to call out that the article development aspect of this project was also highly successful, and I'm glad participants were able to use the time during an after the WLM contest to focus attention to building these articles based on the photos you were able to obtain.
Outreach to the professional photographers may not have been successful in this case, but I think the effort of doing this outreach is important, because it provides our projects with astonishing and beautiful content that readers appreciate and use. I want to acknowledge that many volunteers and grantees have faced challenges in recruiting professional photographers, but agree that promoting CC licensing ought to be continued so as to educate individuals about its value . Thanks for continuing this effort.

The report is nominally approved, pending the remaining funds being returned to the Wikimedia Foundation, which I understand is underway already. When you get a chance, please make sure to add a few images to report here. Thanks again for reporting these outcomes, and congratulations on a successful event.
