Comments from DSaroyan (WMF)[edit]

Hi Kid Keen 47, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant proposal. I have reviewed it and have two questions:

  • Could you please correct the Wikidata community notification link you've placed on the proposal page? It doesn't lead to your post on the Wikidata project chat.
  • Do you have a list of Wikidata items you are planning to work on? Additionally, from your experience, approximately how much time an editor does need to edit 1 Wikidata item?

Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 09:07, 14 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi DSaroyan (WMF) (talk), Thank you for reviewing the project, below are the answers to your question.

  • I have added again my project link to the Wikidata community notification link on the proposal page and it will lead you straight to the wikidata project chat.
  • No I dont have a list of items to work on but I have seen many links and sites with Notable Nigerian athletes on them which I will use. It takes about 15-20 minutes to surf the web and collect relevant information for an edits to a wikidata item and about 12 minutes to put in the edit. For new editors, it could take longer. Beyond that, participants don't come early to our meetings due to the security reason, trend and the general mood in the country which also makes them go back home before dark, making the whole day short but fruitful. Best regards. --Kid Keen 47 (talk) 19:28, 14 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
