Thank you for this request and for your work on Semantic Mediawiki and WikiTranslate, Natkabrown. Although it sounds like innovative and exciting work, we are not able to fund your request based on the following criteria explained in the Travel and Participation Support page:

  • Fit with strategic priorities: Your participation is focused on semantic mediawiki through your project WikiTranslate and does not appear to contribute more directly to any one of our projects
  • Potential outcomes and impact: While the outcomes of your participation may be positive for WikiTranslate, the outcomes closely linked with the Wikimedia strategic priorities of increasing participation or reach, or improving content on Wikimedia sites, will not likely result from this participation.

We welcome future requests from you that may be a better fit and wish you all the best in your future work.
