Request funded[edit]

Dear Sic19,

Thank you for your interest in speaking at the 2017 Summit for Linked Open Data in Library Archives and Museums. I wasn't aware of your work as a Wikidata Visiting Scholar at the National Library of Wales, and it was very interesting to read about what you are doing. Your unique experience make you a very strong candidate to speak about the value and potential of Wikidata at LODLAM and we're happy to fund your request in full for GBP 280.

Please review the next steps for your grant as described in "How the program works". Note that your post-event report is due 14 days after the event and it must include a link to an outcome from your participation. We recommend that you familiarize yourself now with the report requirements so you can plan ahead for it. An outcome does not include the materials you prepare to present at the event (though we’d like you to link to those, too), but something that is created during or after the event because of your participation, such as a link to something new that was co-created by you and your fellow participants at the event, a blog post you wrote to share your experience with others after the event, or a learning pattern to teach others something you've learned at the event. If you choose to make a learning pattern, we especially appreciate your efforts to speak to a target audience about whom you have special expertise (for example, library professionals).

Our Grants Administrator will be in touch with you about your grant. Thank you for work on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation.
