Grants talk:TPS/ircpresident/Creative Commons Global Summit/Report

More information requested[edit]

Hello ircpresident,

Since you were funded via a fiscal sponsorship agreement with Creative Commons, we recognize that you may not have been as familiar with our requirements as typical applicants might be. So, we want to make sure you understand that WMF funds activities that support volunteer editors. We do not support paid editors, which could undermine the volunteer spirit of our editing community (the lifeblood of our movement!) and pose a threat to neutral point of view.

For that reason, may we ask you to restructure this report to focus instead on any other ways that you contributed at the Summit that supported the Wikimedia movement? You might share about both formal and informal forms of participation, such as networking conversations, contributions to workshop discussions, other presentations you may have made, or blogs or written materials you may have created during or as a result of your participation in the Summit.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the nature of this request.

Warm regards,

--Marti (WMF) (talk) 19:35, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Report incomplete[edit]

Hello ircpresident,

We want to let you know that the committee will mark you report incomplete on Wednesday, April 13 if we have not received an outcome to complete your report. Please let us know if you intend to submit an outcome and need an extended deadline. We are happy to work with you to finish out your grant.

Best regards,

Hello ircpresident,
Your report deadline was October 31, 2015, making it 164 days overdue. In light of the fact that we have not heard from you in response to multiple contacts via this talk page and also by email, we are marking your grant incomplete. Please note that you will not be eligible for further funding from WMF so long as your report remains unfinished. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
