Dear Iwuala Lucy,

Thank you for submitting this grant application. We are excited about you planning for a Wiki Loves Monument event. The Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria community Support Fund Committee has reviewed your application and they have some follow-up questions and requests regarding your application:

  • From your report here of the last photography project you did, we could not determine your metrics and has no pictures captured on the dashboard here. Please fix this to move on.
  • Which location are you focusing on capturing and also list out the monuments you intend to capture?
  • Also do you have any photographer supporting you in this project?
  • Lastly, please reduce the total cost of internet to not more than #15,000 and why is the facilitator's Travel Expenses important?

We look forward to your response and we thank you for the work you do within the Wikimedia Nigeria movement.

On behalf of the WUGN Community Support Fund Committee. All the best, Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 18:33, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dear Ayokanmi, with reference to the questions posed by the committee, below are my responses:
  • I carried out my last photo walk project successfully irrespective of the hitches experienced.
  • I reached out to you personally on the day of the project to get the link to the dashboard you created for the project and also informed you of my inability and that of the participants to access the dashboard which was all futile. You told me to go ahead and tell the participants to upload the pictures taken under the 'Wiki Loves Earth 2022 in Nigeria' category that you will track and rectify it later - and I did as you instructed me. Also, I've been able to see some of these pictures uploaded during the project on the Wiki Loves Earth 2022 in Nigeria page. I will appreciate you putting me through on how to fix it.
  • With reference to the location and list of monuments, one of the location is at Heroes Square and Akachi Road, all in Owerri. Also, Akachi Monument and quite a good number of monuments at the Heroes Square will also be captured.
  • No, I have no photographer with me on this project. However, considering the type of project at hand if the committee request I involve a photographer,
  • With reference to the reduction of the cost of internet, I will do so.
  • With reference to the facilitator's travel expenses, sir, I believe it is important as this enables the facilitator to run for and organize the event properly. This is coming from a past experience which the facilitator encountered. So, knowing the import of organizing event of such, it has become a necessity on the part of the facilitator.
Thank you. Iwuala Lucy (talk) 07:01, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello Iwuala Lucy and thank you for your response. Please use this dashboard link here to enroll your participants from the last Photowalk. You can add them manually by collecting their usernames. If still unable to do it, pls send the usernames to me and I will fix it. Thanks and regards. Ayokanmi (WUGN) (talk) 23:12, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
