Explain your plan[edit]

Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you. For financial reasons, I have a very basic old laptop that started to become dysfunctioanl after few years of use. I edit regularly Wikipedia and sometimes I upload photos on Commons. Also, I am starting to give more time to WikiData. Currently, I am in need for a better laptop as I am coordinating the organization of the first Queering Wikipedia conference that we just applied for its grant, and will be participating in the organization of the 2020 WikiConvention conference. Also, I am organizing a couple of regional editathons with Write for the rights and les sans pagEs, and continuing to manage Medianpedia project. All these activities require a laptop with good performance, that has a good battery and that is not heavy as I take it with me for for these different workshops happening in different places.

  9. I have met Kawayashu at the francophone wikiconvention in Grenoble last year, and in Brussels this year, and he is a much valued contributor and community organizer. He participated in our LGBTIQ online contest Continuum organized with the equal opportunity office of the University of Geneva. He has also recently joined the project les sans pagEs méditerranée https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Projet:Les_sans_pagEs/M%C3%A9diterran%C3%A9e, as we hope to coordinate some gender gap reducing initiative in Tunis with his help.
