  • About Wikiloves Folklore international article writing and photograph uploading contest, Tulu and Kannada languages are leading in terms of statistics. update by Bharathesha
  • Vishwanatha Badikana is a pioneer in initiating article writing, contributing one article per day to both Tulu and Kannada Wikipedia. His efforts have been appreciated by community members
  • Bharathesha gave update on Wiki Summit 2024 Berlin, Germany
  • Vishwanatha Badikana provided an update on the successful workshop held at St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru, where Pavanaja served as the resource person.
  • Vishwanatha Badikana announced an offer for all interested Wikimedians to participate in live training sessions every Friday at St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru.This initiative holds great promise for the future development of Tulu and Kannada Wikimedia communities.
  • Babitha Shetty provided an update on the progress of organizing four training workshops in colleges neighboring Mangaluru. The dates and venues for these workshops are nearly finalized. She further mentioned that experienced members from the Karavali Wikimedians user group would serve as resource persons for these workshops. Additionally, she expressed her intention to provide further updates in the coming days.
  • Bharathesha extended an invitation to the members of the Karavali Wikimedians User In subsequent meetings, responsibilities were distributed among community members for efficient coordination. Notably, their previous documentary 'Pursa Kattuna' has been nominated for the Jaipur International Film Festival, marking their second international film festival achievement. The first one being the Kerala International Film Festival.
  • Pavanaja provided information about his grant, which involves initiating sandbox articles into live articles on Kannada Wikipedia and adding references to them. His target for the project duration is to create 1500 articles
