Babel tables width

{{editprotected}}

In the Babel style, the table with is hardcoded to 19em, that is greater than the Userbox container and tables. So, I suggest to modify the following values:

  • In the line 29, the margin-left attribute in the table.mw-babel-wrapper element with the value 0.
  • In the line 60, the width attribute in the div.mw-babel-box table element with the value 241px.

In order to match the size of the userboxes and making it suitable to be used inside in them, as I using them in my global User page.

Thanks. --Amitie 10g (talk) 18:14, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

Why are we having custom styles anyway? Is there any problem with the extension defaults? I propose to remove it unless there is a good reason. Glaisher (talk) 13:16, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Matching userbox with what? Which userbox?--AldNonymousBicara? 14:26, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Are we talking about the extension or the template?  — billinghurst sDrewth 05:53, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Checked, using Babel. Wondering whether we are needing to more configure as per mw:Extension:Babel#Configuration  — billinghurst sDrewth 05:56, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Exactly what needs to be configured? Glaisher (talk) 12:16, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
ping @Pathoschild: who added it. I think the extension's default styles are fine. Do you have any objections to removing them? --Glaisher (talk) 12:16, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
I have no objection. The styles were originally changed to be consistent with Meta's preexisting user language templates. —Pathoschild 13:09, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Dear Glaisher, if you removed this custom style, maybe need also check usage template {{babel-plain}} and maybe also remove it (by replace to direct #babel usage); and also need to find and remove documentation of this feature (done). --Kaganer (talk) 12:30, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
