Domain squatter dangers being facilitated by this and other wikis

External links such as [http://www.nupedia.com Nupedia] have an inherent danger: when the domain changes ownership, a user clicking the link is taken unsuspecting to a site controlled by the new owner. This creates a whole class of user vulnerabilities to malware. Leaving these stale links in place, as at Help:Wikitext examples both facilitates these attacks and encourages the domainjackers. Apparently the blacklist process is inappropriate for dealing with these, as explained at this diff, but a process is evidently needed to detect and disable such stale links. Ideally that process should function for all wikis, at least those that want it.LeadSongDog (talk) 14:12, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

@Shaunak Chakraborty and Ruslik0: In general, the rule that Ruslik stated above is correct. However, this is not a valid request, for a variety of reasons:

Bengali Wikibooks is already an existing project. (Link: b:bn:)
The appropriate place for a project to disseminate the writings of existing writers would be Wikisource, not Wikibooks.
Bengali Wikisource is also already an existing project. (Link: s:bn:)

You are free to contribute to either of those projects if you would like. Please be careful, though: If any of these writers' works are still under copyright, you cannot put them on Wikisource.

Can any one please help me to remove the content posted on wikipedia with my user id.

Content posted topic: hellointern was my company website, where i posted using my user id.

If you are referring to your contributions on the English Wikipedia, (w:en:Special:Contributions/Satyakanchadapu) it looks like these were already resolved. If you want to do anything else on that project you will need to resolve your blocked status there first. — xaosflux ^Talk 17:30, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
