I've needed the assistance of a translation admin quite a few times over the past seven months (for example, every time I update Template:WMF Staff, it needs marking for translation), and I expect to need additional pages marked for translation several more times over the next couple of months, as I intend to create a bunch of translatable templates, and I'd rather not have to request help for every change made, so I'm applying for translation administrator rights.

I have considerable admin experience on multiple projects, but I am not experienced with translation administrator tools, and I have not directly participated in translation efforts before (except for occasionally developing software to make such work easier, unrelated to the Translate extension). --Yair rand (talk) 01:04, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
