Please could an Admin immediately stop this Central notice?! I nearly see this each time I visit a Wikipedia page. Nearly EACH time! This is pure harassment. And produces nothing more than frustration instead of lust for WLM. It's for me impossible to end it, it comes again and again and again. Such harassment can't be wanted. We continued this discussion on German Wikipedia. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 10:31, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
@Seddon: Have you heard of any problems with closing the banners resp. with cookies? Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 20:07, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
@DerHexer, Seddon (WMF), and Marcus Cyron: Banners can be set to stop displaying to users when they've saw it x times in y seconds. While I'm not the manager of that campaign (nor of any other fwiw) I've took the liberty to adjust the impression diet for the campaign so users will see the banner max. 3 times per day (it'll use a cookie called wlm-2017-de for that. Feel free to revert or modify the campaign as you see fit, but I felt that displaying the banner to users on each edit is indeed abusive, although I don't think this was done intentionally. I would never belive, that somebody here would like to do such things intentionally to me or others ;). But it's just frustrating ;). Marcus Cyron (talk) 20:37, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
