This is a periodic report summarising the activity and caseload of the Ombuds Commission for the period from November 2021 to 31 January 2022.
- The Commission entered this reporting period with 14 matters unresolved.
- 3 complaints were immediately closed as the facts described were clearly outside the Ombuds Commission's scope.
- 3 new matters were raised with the Ombuds Commission during the period.
- At the period end there were 5 open matters:[1]
- 5 open matters involve the use of the CheckUser tool;
- 0 open matters involve the use of the Oversight tool;
- 0 open matters involve the policies in general;
- The commission, which began its mandate with 18 cases to investigate, cut the backlog by nearly 75%.

During this period there were no changes in the Commission and in the roles assigned. The commission ended its mandate on 31 January 2022.
