The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.

Central Bikol is one of the most spoken among indigenous languages in the Philippines and is a major language which is used in the Mother Tongue- Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) of Department of Education in the Philippines along with Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilokano, Waray, Kapampangan, Pangasinense among others. There has been a resurgence in the local publication since the early 2000s and a number of books have been produced such as works of literature. Open projects such as Wikibook can fast-track the production of texts in the local language.
