The Board of Trustees and language committee have deemed that there is sufficient grounds and community to create the new language project.

The closing committee member provided the following comment:

Pangasinan Wikipedia: The requested project was created at pag: at an indeterminate date. Note that this request was approved before the implementation of the standardised Language proposal policy, and should not be used as a model for future requests.

Pangasinan Wiktionary: This discussion was created before the implementation of the Language proposal policy, and it is incompatible with the policy. Please open a new proposal in the format this page has been converted to (see the instructions). This is a request for a Pangasinan Wikipedia and a Pangasinan Wiktionary. Pangasinan is one the twelve major languages of the Philippines that is spoken by about 2 million people.
