- Location(s) spoken: en:Veneto region of Italy, parts of en:Friuli-Venezia Giulia region (en:Trieste and western Friuli), en:Trento province in Italy, en:Istria region of en:Croatia and en:Slovenia, en:Brasil, en:Mexico and other regions of Italy. Veneto is composed by a lot of dialects there can be from Central and Coastal Veneto, from Mountain Veneto, from Western Veneto, from Eastern and Southern Trentino (western Trentino is a lombard dialect), from north-eastern Emilia and from South-Eastern Lombardy. All can be intellegible.
- Closely related languages, if any: en:Friulian language. Also related to Lombard and Emilian.
