The options[edit]
- one big site, everything on it, we trust people to not blabber about stuff they're not supposed to see
- one big site, with access control
- use a non-MediaWiki wiki engine
- pay for development of MediaWiki access controls
- many sites with different purposes
Groups who need wikis[edit]
- Legal department
- Grants department
- Press department
- Board of Trustees
- Wikimedia chapters
- Wikimania planning (?)
Current situation[edit]
- We will experiment temporarily with a wiki used for chapters, grants and press.
- Danny, Ryo, and Domas will provide specifications to Brion for the development of MediaWiki access controls.
