Step 1: Choose a descriptive title

Other L2 members will see this title appear in the list of active ideas, so make sure it describes your idea well. Once you click "Start new idea page", you'll be presented with an edit window and some more instructions.

Step 2: Fill out the form

Make sure that you capture the basic idea, but don't worry about writing it all up. You can always come back to add information later. This is a wiki after all.

Step 3: Discuss your idea

Once you've got the idea page ready, consider sending an email to wiki-research-l or dropping by the IRC channel (#wikimedia-labs2^bağlan) to let others know about it. Otherwise, your idea will appear at the top of the list of active ideas so long as you continue to expand and update the idea page.
