Is this a support service for campus ambassadors?

[edit]

Last term I saw the teahouse do outreach to some classes participating in the Wikipedia Education Program. The hosts posted a notice on new users' pages inviting them to the teahouse if they had questions. I am about to begin acting as campus ambassador for a class of 15 grad students. Can I request teahouse outreach for my class? Is this part of the usual teahouse mission? If so, how should I request this? Blue Rasberry (talk) 20:38, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Blue. We'd love that! We did connect with a small group of classes, but have had little response thus far from professors sending their students our way. So, some hosts have reached out to students on Wiki. BUT, it'd be EXTREMELY valuable if you were able to promote the Teahouse in anyway! There is no formal request, but of course, if you do invite your students we'd love to know just so we can track it during this pilot research time. Feel free to ping me on Wikipedia at User:SarahStierch and let me know. Thank you for your enthusiasm. SarahStierch (talk) 02:40, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

How should I introduce new comers to Teahouse

[edit]

Why does the welcome templates of Wikipedia are not still equipped with links to the Teahouse? Why don't you introduce it into it so that the new comers get a more socialized welcome? Shall I add a link to the Teahouse for the welcomings that I make? The Manual of Style pages of Wikipedia does not completely remove confusions about the style and also they are not much user friendly to navigate.Vanischenu (talk) 13:18, 2 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orschstaffer (talk) 00:40, 3 June 2012 (UTC), Consider this a cordial greetingReply

Suppose, for lack of better phraseology, a certain philosophy in the learning methods of multiple intelligences individuals whereby each area of knowledge-crunching was met by it corresponding teaching methods wherein a desire to learn more ensued gravitating to some level of maximum achievement, could be applied to a welcoming committee. For instance: Consider Education and the imposing ambiguation(s). Please feel free to post directly to my Page.

Hello Teahouse, could I have another Please? and My Friend here would like another also.
A lot is happening here demanding of priorities, Meta calls me, I love that name, maybe I'll call my guitar that, it needs a real name, I will be back.
