  • ...I have been an active Wikipedian editor since 4 January 2016.
  • My first edit in a Wiki platform was in Bengali wikipedia in the year 2016 as username "খাঁ শুভেন্দু”
  • I have now made over 13,000 edits. I contributed over 1,150 new articles in to Bengali wikipedia and 59 articles in to English Wikipedia and 1 article Hindi Wikipedia.

  • I have been most active contributor on Wikipedia Asia Month in last 2 years, and many other ongoing projects in Bengali Wikipedia.
  • I have made many different types of edits over the years, including article writing, copy editing, translation etc. Most recently, I have been working mostly on Bengali Wikipedia.

Why do you need this support (Internet and/or laptop)

I have been editing Wikipedia and other Wikipedia projects for more than two years. All these things Need internet. I am a student. It is always cost effective to keep an internet connection on my behalf. So, I hope wiki Foundation will help me with the cost of internet.

Future activities[edit]

How will you use this in the next six months?

  • Develop the existing articles.
  • Create new articles that are very important and not found in my native language, ie, bn.wikipedia.
  • Can translate more articles from English wiki to Indain Wikis such as bn.wikipedia.
  • Can contribute to Commons by uploading hundreds of photos I have taken with my Mobile Phone camera.
