Is it anonymous?[edit]

I received an invitation to take this survey but I will do so only if it is anonymous. Neither the invitation nor the FAQ makes this clear. Is it? 2A00:23C5:FE0C:2100:ECD4:D74B:A550:E03C 10:38, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello 2A00:23C5:FE0C:2100:ECD4:D74B:A550:E03C! The survey privacy statement has more information on this. When your responses are submitted, they are not anonymous, but they are de-identified in our dataset (at minimum 90 days after the survey closes). Only members of the Foundation's Global Data and Insights team have access to this dataset before it is de-identified, and we do not share data in an identifiable form when reporting back to either the Foundation or to Wikimedia communities. To put it another way, your responses are not anonymous to our small research team, but they certainly are in how we store and report on the data collected in the survey. I understand if you don't wish to take a survey that is not completely anonymous. Please let me know if you still have questions that aren't answered by the privacy policy or by my response here. Getting an invitation[edit]

Regarding the "Editor didn't get an invitation" question, you didn't explain how can the editor get an invitation. I'm an editor in Arabic Wikipedia and I didn't get any email. Ircpresident (talk) 22:30, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
