Jazz Biographies?[edit]

The chapter "Ideas for Articles" also refers to the "Jazz Biographies" list, but I see that many of the listed persons do not nearly meet the relevance criteria of the German-speaking Wikipedia. We should better be careful using this list. Best regards --Maimaid (talk) 08:15, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your feedback. The link to the 'Jazz Biographies' repository of the Fonoteca, lists all the public available records of Jazz Artists. It is not the complete repository and not a selection as proposal for our event. Therefore, your point is absolutely justified. If you are interested in Jazz Biographies, the relevance criteria of the Wikipedia version you are writing on must be fulfilled. At the event you can search the full Jazz Artist repository of the Fonoteca. --Debora (WMCH) (talk) 13:58, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Right to attend events without sharing personnal information[edit]

Dear organisation team, thank you for orgenizing this event. I nevertheless think we should heve the right to keep our anonimity on wikimedia projects. Upon registering with Eventbrite, we are obliged to allow eventbrite to share our information with the "organizer". It is a shame there is no solution allowing us to remain anonymous with our pseudo if we wish to. One person that I know has not accepted to attend because of that. Being outed as trans person, they did not wish to share their gender and contact details without knowing how this information could be handled. Thank you for your feedback. If somebody is interested in our event and wants to remain anonymous, I suggest to contact us directly. We can for sure find a solution. The request for disclosure is related to multi-day events with overnight stays, if somebody requests a hotel reservation, booked by us. It is also possible to book the hotel directly, hand in an expense report and just fill in the registration table on the project page. In any case, only the person who sets-up the eventbrite event will have knowledge of the personal details of a participant. Hope this explanation helps. --Debora (WMCH) (talk) 13:49, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone read this page at all?[edit]

I wonder why there are no reactions to our contributions above. Best regards, --Maimaid (talk) 10:17, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for my late answers on the discussion page --Debora (WMCH) (talk) 13:59, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Template in Biographies can be used as Weblink to Fonoteca-Catalogue[edit]

There is already a Templete, which can be integrated in Biographies as Weblinks:

{{Nationalphonothek}} --18quirl08 (talk) 10:34, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone create a nice Template for Permanentlinks to the Fonoteca Stuff. So that we can include it in Einzelnachweise and other places similar to the Vorlage:HLS in de. Could {{Nationalphonothek}} be expanded with parameters like DAT2444 (Fonoteca Recource nr.) and date (date of the recording) and so on, to point to the Fonoteca Source directely? --Horgner (talk) 10:13, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
