I agree that photos are a good way to convince people of your reports, they're absolutely needed if you want to convince anyone that at the event you organised there was someone more than your better half and your kindergarten best friend. I've funded a few hundreds events in my university, I think, and without photos it's harder; but it's also hard to be able to "read" a photo properly, of course.
