Date[edit]

11 February 2017 is a Saturday. --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 20:16, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, now fixed. Sometimes these sort of mishaps will happen when like me you live in the wrong century. WereSpielChequers (talk) 10:08, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tube issues[edit]

Just an FYI, there's no tubes (Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith and City) through Farringdon on 12 Feb. All the Central line stations seem to be open. Joseph2302 (talk) 22:53, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not Lancaster Gate - it's closed for lift replacement. It would have been a useful interchange for Paddington. --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 00:00, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pub for March[edit]

My spies tell me the Oak is about to be refurbished, this meetup should be OK but we may have to spend the following meetup or two elsewhere. Suggestions for alternative venues will be needed for a discussion on the day. WereSpielChequers (talk) 10:08, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have just phoned the pub. Was told 13th March for about a month. Gordo (talk) 19:26, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That matches what the manager told me when I was there last weekend. Thryduulf (talk: meta · en.wp · wikidata) 21:33, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Engineering works on SouthEastern[edit]

Mjroots, you say "replacement buses on SEML from Sevenoaks to Grove Park", but your link doesn't seem to bear this out. Which is your local station? --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 00:20, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Redrose64 - Tonbridge is local station (SEML). Southeastern are saying that there is a service, but the engineering page stated buses replacing trains from Sevenoask to Grove Park. Word on a rail forum I frequent is that there are trains running. Just checked and Southeastern have change the webpage from Southeastern between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks - These trains will run between London Bridge and Grove Park to - These trains will run non-stop between London Bridge and Hither Green, then normally between Grove Park and Sevenoaks. If you intend to travel from Lewisham to Sevenoaks (and vice versa), travel on the Sidcup Line between Lewisham and Hither Green and change trains. So, it looks like we are good to go. Mjroots (talk) 06:22, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Mjroots: According to this query, it seems that there are four trains per hour from Tonbridge to Charing Cross on Sunday 12 February; all run direct, no change necessary. --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 11:55, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

photo request[edit]

If anyone is running early, the IWM has a the Jolly Boat from EN:SS_Anglo_Saxon_(1929) on display, we don't have a photo for the article and that would make a good one. WereSpielChequers (talk) 23:04, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback[edit]

It was nice meeting you all. Train journey ran fine both ways, with virtually no waiting at the station. The various bits of my body that misbehave mostly were good, although painkillers have now worn off. Mjroots (talk) 19:10, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
