Since people in China are suffering from the problem of connecting this website and most of the native speakers live in China. I suggest that we'd better use Roman characters instead of those traditional ones. As soon as we successfully create a Roman version, it should not be hard to create a traditional one. As far as I know, there are more than 3000 people who have taking different sorts of Manchurian classes, but most of them have difficulty of using traditional ones. Due to the instance messages like QQ, most of them are quite fluent in Roman Manchu. One is better than zero. What do you think? I was wondering why the people concerning about Manchu Wikipedia suddenly disappeared since 2012 before I have read here that Wikimedia Incubator had been blocked in China. Now the Incubator has been unblocked and we can continue this project now. ^_^

As for script, now we are already able to use Manchu script here. (See the Main Page and the Roman Main Page of Manchu Wikipedia.) It is better to remain both writing system on Manchu Wikipedia and transliterate them into both systems for every article.

Semi-protected edit request on 2 June 2021

I wrote in latin alphabet because I was lazy. but traditionally and modern days Manchu uses Manchu script so I admit I was wrong.

writing Manchu in latin script is due to the computer environment and publishing problem. in general situations, we use manchu script and it is vertical.

and another reason is also important. romanization of Manchu has various forms. such as Möllendorff, abkai, pinyin have Manchu romanizations. and they are not unified at all. but based on Manchu script. for disambiguation and correctness, we should use manchu script.

and if you are hard to make lots of pages, just ignoring romanized articles but upload Manchu pages. I think this might be good idea. Chulsu463 (talk) 20:34, 2 June 2021 (UTC)

@Chulsu463: I see no reason you mark this section as semi-protected edit request, since you're able to edit the main discussion page, and what I'm interesting isn't this problem, is however how to translate the "Wikipedia" and "Wikipedia_talk" in Manchu.
